An exhibition with the faces and voices of 8 well-known Bulgarian men sharing personal stories of strength, fear, happiness and uncertainty. 23 Oct – 5 Nov 2025.
The exhibition “Hear My Voice” combines portrait photography and sound to spotlight the vulnerability — and the strength — of men speaking openly about their emotions.
Behind the camera is Pavel Chervenkov — a master of portrait photography who has shot some of Bulgaria’s best-known actors and the covers of cult magazines like “Egoist”. The sound installation is by Emilian Gatsov – Elbi, a composer of theatre and film music and winner of the “Askeer 2024” award.
The faces and voices belong to popular Bulgarian men sharing their personal stories of strength, fear, happiness and uncertainty:
- Alexander Kadiev — actor and TV host
- Georgi Gospodinov — writer, winner of the 2023 International Booker Prize
- Iliyan Djevelekov — director, screenwriter and producer
- Marten Roberto — DJ and radio host
- Ovanes Torosyan — actor
- Tsvetoslav Tsonev – Tsuro — vlogger and director
- Yasen Zgurovski (Julieta Intergalactica) — visual artist and DJ
